Last week I was so lucky to be able attend WPPI – a huge photography conference in Las Vegas. I have never been to vegas, so I was really excited… PLUS I was going with my good friend Courtney Reece! We always have a great time together, and Vegas was no exception!

We stayed at the MGM Grand – which was seriously huge. And we had 2 of the best roommates! We had “met” them online when we were looking for some people to room with, and it turned out awesome. I honestly LOVED every second with Julie and Hilary.

my favorite hotel was the Venetian it was seriously amazing. They even had gondola rides!

we walked around a TON – if you are my friend on facebook, or follow me on twitter, you probably saw my feet (covered in bandaides- darn those cute shoes!)

Then we did a little photoshoot… here is miss gorgeous, courtney

then courtney grabbed some pics of me for my blog (a new and updated blog coming soon!)

and one of my favorite moments was when we decided to do the “hair flip” photo… a la michelle moore… I love how graceful they look – and how akward I am ahaha!

more coming tomorrow from our trip to the Red Rock Canyon!

fun times in Vegas :)

i love my brides | indiana wedding photographer
One of my favorite brides (and now friends), Corrie, just posted the sweetest review of me… as well as her other vendors! She has a great blog – which I love reading – about her life, and her wedding planning… check it out to find out about the vendors she used!
corrie+adam|sacred heart wedding – Rathskeller reception, Indianapolis, IN
Corrie and Adam are so fabulous… I mean really… the kindest people, and so fun. They had a beautiful wedding on a FREEZING day in January… but they were totally up for anything… that is dedication! Corrie even had matching gloves and wore long underwear under here dress!! haha!

helloooooo cute shoes!

love first look moments ![]()

I love Sacred Heart Catholic Church… and the coolest part – Adam’s grandpa (or maybe great grandpa) was one of the carpenters who actually made the pews when the church was built!

Adam and Corrie walked down the isle together, it was such a great moment!

after freeeezing outside for a while, we ran in the Central Library downtown… then I caught them making out in the books! haha

I mean seriously – could she be any cuter??

love love love them! I am so excited to keep in touch with my new friends, the Lakers

these are a few of my favorite things | greenwood, IN wedding photographer
I wanted to start of 2010 with a list of some cool things I have discovered lately…
1. my new green polkadot cover for my camera bag! It is the perfect addition to my “outfit” on shoots… and it is super cute. My Shootsac bag fits everything I need on the go – as well as makes the perfect diaper/purse/go to the zoo bag. Seriously – check them out!
2. glee – ok I didn’t watch this at first, but have really gotten into the reruns, and the soundtrack… LOVE IT! Now – disclaimer – I am a huge fan of all things musical – so if you aren’t, it may not be your cup of tea!
3. clients turned good friends! I have shot Holli’s family a few times in the past years, and this past time we decided our little boys would love to hang out… so they did, and we were right (DUH)! We had a great time and the boys loved playing together! Clearly all boys love trains, trucks, cars, and basically jumping/running/chasing each other around the room. So – if you want to hang out – call me! I would love to get together (with or without kids!)
4. clean and clear blackhead eraser exfoliating cleanser…. yea that is a long name… but seriously, this thing gets my face so silky smooth – you MUST try it. Before you go thinking I am dirty and full of blackheads – I am not, but love a good exfoliator!
… seriously, try it!
5. bryson’s cheese face. As a photographer – I hate it – as a mother – I love it! It is so goofy and totally not natural… but boy is he cute! (atleast I think so!). He just stands in front of ANY camera and says CHEEEESEEEE. I don’t know where he learned it… but it cracks me up!

6. facebook – please be my friend… then I can keep you updated on everything go on, and I can creepily stalk your page and figure out what’s new with you!!
click here to be my friend… and click here to become a fan of Lemongrass! There might just be special deals you will only find on facebook!
now you have to leave some comments with your own favorite things!
